Over the years, I have received tens of thousands resume and job applications. If the job advertisement says that you need a bio-medical degree and you have qualifications as a motor mechanic, then do not apply. It wastes everyone’s time. That is an extreme example, but you should at least read the requirements for the job and believe that you can meet those requirements and would be suited to that role. Successful job hunters know that the application is all about fitting the Employers need – not the jobseekers need.
